Emap National Publications has announced that it will be closing its Performance Car magazine and merging it into sister-magazine Car .
The July issue will be Performance Car‘s last. The magazine’s ABC has dropped from a high of 67,000 in 1987 to just over 36,000 in 1997. Car, meanwhile, has recently seen its circulation rise to over 122,000.
