Pursuit, which publishes titles covering angling, golf, football and walking is to hand over its five pet-interest magazines to EMAP Apex.
The rationale behind this move is that Pursuit is rumoured to be considering launching some new titles linked to outdoor recreation, though no details are available. Moving the magazines, which include Your Cat and Your Horse, to Apex will allow Pursuit to concentrate on developing these new titles.
Top golfers Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer and Curtis Strange will be leaving EMAP’s Golf World at the end of the month. A spokesman for Golf World pointed out that their decisions are purely personal and have not been prompted by disagreements with Golf World.
