Channel 4’s US comedy series Frasier is to be sponsored by Ericsson in a deal worth around £500,000. The deal represents Ericsson’s first sponsorship contract.
The association begins on 27 March and will run until 19 June. The same sponsorship will then run on the repeat showing of the series which is to be broadcast this Autumn.
The Ericsson association follows Frasier‘s previous sponsorship by Douwe Egberts which began in October last year and was agreed to run for nine episodes of the show (subscribers see Sponsorship Briefs).
