Stuart Corke has been appointed as head of audience and insight at ES Media, the commercial team responsible for the London Evening Standard, the Independent, ‘i’, Independent on Sunday, and the recently won London Live TV channel.
Corke will report to group commercial director Jon O’Donnell, who is confident that Corke’s appointment will take ES Media’s audience understanding to the ‘next level’.
Previously, Corke spent twelve years at News International in various roles including director of strategic planning and director of customer insight as well as time as a managing partner at MediaTel Group.
In his new role, Corke will support the launch of London Live, as well as providing insight that will inform activity across the company’s existing newsbrands.
“I am pleased to be joining at such an exciting time in the company’s development,” said Corke, who was a consultant for the London Evening Standard between December and March.
“It is a proven innovator, evolving its news brands to be commercially successful while at the same time focusing on producing award-winning quality journalism. Coupled with the investment in the London Live TV franchise, there is an enormous opportunity to give our commercial partners a greater understanding of our audiences.”
Corke will take up his role at ES Media with immediate effect.
