Espotting Appoints New Vice President Of Operations

Espotting Media, the pay for performance advertising group, has appointed former DoubleClick managing director, Matthew Colebourne, as its new vice president of operations.

Colebourne will join Espotting’s senior management team and will take on responsibility for refining and improving the processes that support the company’s European advertisers and network partners.

Colbourne will report directly to Espotting’s chief operating officer, Jonathan Bunis, who commented: “Matthew’s unique personal style and his range of experience makes him a natural addition to the Espotting management team as we move to the next stage of the company’s expansion of its geography, product range and service offerings”

Daniel Ishag, founder and CEO of Espotting, added: “Matthew’s appointment highlights our focus on operational excellence, our continued commitment to providing the highest levels of customer service in the industry and the ongoing explosive drive of Espotting’s growth.”

Colebourne spent five years at DoubleClick and was part of the European founding team, which was responsible for striking deals across Europe with companies such as Freeserve and Adlink. Before that, he held senior sales positions at Seagate Software IMG, where he was responsible for deals with companies such as Barclays, Cadbury and British Telecom.

Espotting was recently acquired by US marketing group FindWhat.com for £97 million. The agreement will see the company’s stockholders receive approximately 8.1 million shares of FindWhat.com common stock and around £16 million in cash (see Espotting Merges With US Firm In £97 Million Deal).
