Following a meeting with the European Commission on 26 May in Brussels, representatives of various European Internet Associations discussed the need for an organisation to represent Internet Service Providers (ISPs) at a European level. The UK’s Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA) has been asked by the EC to compose a mailing list of appropriate Internet organisations and to draft a proposal that will identify objectives for a European ISPA, outline a suitable legal and administrative structure, and draft a budget.
