Evening Standard To Launch ES Interiors
The Evening Standard is set to publish a new homes and style magazine called ES Interiors.
Associated Newspapers says that the title will be aimed at “the sophisticated, metropolitan reader” and claims that it will be the highest circulating publication of its kind on the market. For the latest ABC period (Nov 1997-Apr 1998), the Standard‘s circulation stood at 454,528.
ES Interiors will be edited by Adam Edwards and launches amidst a flurry of other home interest title launches (BBC Good Homes, 20 Beautiful Homes and Beautiful Living for example).
The publishers promise ‘cutting-edge design and beautiful colour photography throughout’. The magazine will launch on Friday, 11 September 1998 and will be backed by a promotions campaign across radio, press and poster space.
