February Cinema Admissions Show Big Increase

Total cinema admissions soared by 49.4% year on year to 15.13 million during February. This is the biggest margin of increase since March 1994. The average weekly admission figure stood at 3.78 million.

It has also emerged that Titanic has become the biggest grossing film ever – so far in the UK it has taken around £48m.
