Final Hustle wins over 5.7 million

Hustle The last in the series of Hustle, with Adrian Lester and Matt Di Angelo, attracted more than 5.7 million peak viewers last night.

Around 5.6 million average viewers tuned in to see the series finale, which looks as though Mickey has finally been beaten at his own game, between 9pm and 10pm – securing BBC One with a 23.4% audience share.

At the same time, the last in the series of Victoria Farm banked the second highest ratings during the all-important peak slot for BBC Two – pulling in more than 3.8 million peak viewers and a 15.5% audience share.

It was an evening for last in the series yesterday, with ITV’s Piers Morgan On… series also coming to an end.

Morgan visited Hollywood for his last ‘look at’ programme, meeting stars such as Sharon Osbourne, Vinnne Jones and Spice Girl Mel B along the way – which attracted 3.5 million peak viewers and a 14.2% audience share for ITV1.

Five managed to pip Channel 4’s ratings during 9pm and 10pm, with Soho Blues pulling in 1.5 million average viewers to A Very British Storm Junkie‘s 1 million.

However, BBC One’s flagship soap, Eastenders, secured the highest ratings of the evening with almost 9 million peak viewers and a 39.8% average audience share between 7.30pm and 8pm.
