Five And BT Vision Sign New Catch-Up TV Deal

Five Logo Five’s programming is set to become available via the BT Vision on-demand television service, as the two companies sign a new deal.

BT Vision will be the first on-demand TV service in the UK to feature Demand Five, allowing viewers to catch-up on Five’s programmes from the previous eight days.

Demand Five is set to feature Five’s most popular shows, including Home and Away, Neighbours, Fifth Gear and The Gadget Show.

BT Vision customers will also have access to Five’s new factual and lifestyle programmes, such as the Hotel Inspector, Diet Doctors and Hidden Lives.

Children’s shows like Make Way for Noddy, Mr Men and other new pre-school series will also feature on the service.

Dan Marks, BT Vision CEO, said: “We are happy to add Five to our roster of programming partners and to be the launch platform for Demand Five.”

He added: “The addition of Demand Five adds further breadth and depth of programming to what is already the UK’s largest on-demand television service.”

Viewers will have the option to pay for each episode they watch or sign up to one of BT Vision’s TV and TV Replay subscription packs.

Jonathan Lewis, head of digital media at Five, said: “We are excited to be rolling out our Demand Five service to BT Vision.”
