Five’s new series of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation continued to grip viewers last night, with almost 3.4 million adults on average tuning in to the show.
The forensic investigative hit gave the channel a 15.2% audience share, narrowly beaten by ITV1’s share of 15.3% for the tawdry Ladette To Lady.
Remarkably, 3.4 million adults on average tuned in to the programme as the ‘girls’ once again proved they were possibly beyond redemption with their vulgar antics.
Over on BBC One, more bad behaviour from Mistresses drew a crowd, with more than 4.4 million watching the show. This gave the station a 20% viewing share, making Mistresses the most watched show in the 9pm to 10pm timeslot.
Earlier, BBC One triumphed with Holby City, with the medical drama attracting almost 5.9 million adults (27%). Meanwhile, ITV1’s popular game show, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, was seen by over 3.8 million (15.3%), whilst Channel 4’s Supersize Vs Superskinny lured 2.4 million (11%).
