Flashtalking hires Rocket Fuel EVP as new CEO

Ad tech company Flashtalking has hired Rocket Fuel’s executive vice president and general manager, John Nardone, as its new CEO.

Nardone had been CEO of [x+1] for six years until Rocket Fuel acquired the company in 2014. Prior to that he was co-president of Marketing Management Analytics (MMA), having gained experience from MasterCard International, Modem Media and PepsiCo.

He also served as one of the founding board members of the Internet Advertising Bureau and on the board of DMG Media.

“John’s appointment comes at an exciting time for Flashtalking and will help push us forward globally,” said Paul Cunningham, founder and chairman of Flashtalking.

“Our clients and revenue are growing dramatically, especially in the U.S. market. Obviously, we’re eager to extend this growth even further. John has a fantastic pedigree and track record. He will help take Flashtalking to the next level.”

Flashtalking has offices across the globe, from Sydney to Cologne and from Amsterdam to San Francisco, with headquarters in London. Its client base includes T-Mobile, Toyota, Kohl’s, Verizon, Sony, Walmart and American Express.
