Details have been confirmed regarding a new daily newspaper devoted entirely to football. The as-yet untitled paper will be published by Parliamentary Communications and launched in the summer, probably just before the Euro ’96 championship.
It will be a broadsheet, cost 50p, have 16 pages and will be published every day except Sunday. A spokesman said that it will have a minimum target sale of 40,000 to 60,000. It will be aimed at upmarket 25-45 year olds.
