Foster’s Signs Online Sponsorship With ITV’s F1 Site
ITV’s Formula 1 website, at www.itv-f1.com, has signed a twelve month sponsorship deal with Foster’s, representing the first online sponsorship move for the larger brewer. The deal was secured by Granada Media Commercial Enterprises, a division of Granada Mediasales set up to handle non-traditional forms of media.
The association between Foster’s and the ITV F1 website will include a downloadable screensaver featuring the Foster’s ‘Pit Babes’, as well as the opportunity for readers to win a trip to the Australian Grand Prix.
Commenting on the deal, Caroline Hughes, commercial director at Granada Media Commercial Enterprises, says: “We worked closely with Foster’s to create an internet solution which meets their objectives for interactive media while reinforcing their position as an official F1 sponsor.”
The ITV F1 website is produced in conjunction with Haymarket Publications’ F1 Racing magazine and has recently been redesigned by Eidoscope.
