FT Colour Supplement – Review

Today the Financial Times launched a colour supplement about the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race.

It is the first time for more than 20 years that the FT has brought out a colour magazine. It is the first in a series planned by the paper.

The supplement is sponsored by BT, Whitbread, and Intrum Justitia. The A4 size, glossy magazine only carries ads from the three sponsors, and a back page ad from Omega, the official timekeepers of the Yacht Race. There are only 4 pages given to ads out of 24

The editorial is a detailed guideto the race, featuring the competitors, boats, the route to be taken as well as the latest technology.
