ft.com Gets Redesign And Marketing Push

Pearson has redesigned its Financial Times website, ft.com, as part of an increase in its online activities. The new-look, augmented website is accompanied by an advertising campaign which breaks this week.

ft.com is to introduce new online services later this year in line with plans for the site to become part of a business portal. The website currently has almost two million registered users.

At the same time, the Financial Times today reports that rumours of Pearson considering floating its business information services, including ft.com, on the Nasdaq market are untrue.
