Future Expands Digital Photography Portfolio

Future Digital is expanding its magazine portfolio with the launch of a new monthly photography magazine, entitled Digital Photography Techniques.

The new 116-page title launches later this month with a coverprice of £5 and contains practical hints and tips on the art of digital photography.

Each issue of Digital Photography Techniques will feature a CD including various applications, tools, plug-inns and video tutorials, as well as a four-page pull-out on Photoshop techniques.

Commenting on the launch, Dave Taylor, publisher of the new title, said: “Digital Photography Techniques is an ideal complement to Future’s existing magazine line up for digital camera enthusiasts, offering readers an easy to follow guide, helping readers get the most out of their images and fully benefit from the latest software developments.”

The new title is a response to the evolving digital photography market and according to Taylor: “Software is one of the most dynamic parts of the digital camera market and many of the main players have adapted their products accordingly, making them easier to use for the mainstream user.”

Future Publishing recently launched the UK’s first consumer mobile phone gaming magazine in response to the growing popularity of the medium (see Future Launches First Mobile Gaming Magazine).
