Future Network Suspends Shares
The prospects for troubled publisher Future Network are uncertain this morning, after the company announced a suspension of shares instead of its expected interim results.
Shares in Future have seen a major decline from their £9 high at the beginning of 2000. Last year the discovery of accounting errors at the company’s French subsidiary gave a blow to market confidence in the company from which shares have never recovered (see Newsline).
Last month Future Network was thought to be in talks with a potential investor (see Future In Investment Talks), but nothing appeared to come of the negotiations.
