FX joins Sky Go

Fox Broadcasting Company has reached a deal with BSkyB, resulting in FX being added to Sky Go’s out of home service.

This means Sky customers will be available to access the entertainment channel through their computers, tablets and smartphones. Customers have a choice of streaming live stations or downloading video on demand content through their device

FX was launched in the UK and Ireland in January 2004, targeting the 25 to 44 year old demographic featuring a roster of Fox shows, like The Shield, American Horror Story and Family Guy, as well as non-Fox produced content.

The digital channel’s biggest hits include AMC’s The Walking Dead, HBO’s True Blood and Showtime’s Dexter.

Channel 4 previously announced that it would join the service early next year.
