Channel Four today confirmed that it has signed a three year contract with the Big Breakfast presenter Gaby Roslin. This deal follows months of speculation after the announcement that Gaby will be leaving the Big Breakfast in mid-January.
She will be working exclusively for Channel 4 for at least 40 weeks a year on several projects including a new chat show and a new series of The Real Holiday Show. There will also be spin-offs from this format including The Real Christmas Show which will be screened next Christmas.
Channel 4’s Chief Executive Michael Grade said of the deal: “We are delighted that Gaby has decided to develop her career in several different directions with Channel 4 – now she won’t have to get up so early in the morning any more.”
