A new credit sequence is being introduced to the ITV Network weather bulletin, backed by Powergen, as part of an original £2.2m sponsorship deal. The sequences will illustrate how weather conditions affect plants and animals, with one featuring Gemima the white duck sliding over an icy surface. The deal between ITV and Powergen has been running for five years.
