Latest satellite ownership figures issued by GfK estimate 2.2m homes had satellite dishes at the end of April – an increase of 48,000 on the previous month. (BARB figures for the beginning of June make the universe size 2.48m.) Gfk believe dish sales will slow down this autumn , as BSkyB move all its channels to subscription. The Gfk survey does not cover N.I., the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
