GGT, the former Gold Greenlees Trott, has bought French agency BDDP for Ffr836 million (£105m).
GGT is to issue £55 million new shares, of which around £35m will go to BDDP shareholders. BDDP is the third largest advertising agency in France and the fifteenth largest in the United States.
