The new media division of Ginger Media Group (GMG), Ginger Online, has registered all its websites with ABC //electronic, the independent audit organisation.
Chris Evans’ Ginger Group already runs the website of its Virgin Radio station (http://www.virginradio.co.uk/). GMG is planning to launch websites for both its TFI Friday series and for GMG as a whole. John Ousby, director online for GMG, said: “Accountability is essential in the development of our websites, advertisers and agencies are crying out for it.”
Chris Evans’ Virgin programme this week moved its slot to the slightly earlier time of 6:30-9:30am (previously 7:00-10:00am). It is understood that Evans is poised to finalise a deal with BSkyB, already sponsor of the radio show, which will see an hour of the Virgin Radio programme broadcast live on Sky One (see Chris Evans Takes Radio To Sky One).
