Chris Evans’ Ginger Media Group, which includes Virgin Radio, has decided to go ahead with a full sale of the company to Scottish Media Group (SMG). The companies this morning confirmed the £225 million deal, which sees SMG beating off rival bids from Clear Channel Communications, French radio group NRJ and the Guardian Media Group.
