Golden Rose To Target Women

A radio station targeting women in London is being proposed by Golden Rose Communications, parent company of Jazz FM. The company is planning to bid for one of the two new London AM licences advertised last month.
The proposed station, which has a working name of ‘Viva’, is being masterminded by Golden Rose’s chief executive David Maker and Jazz’s sales and marketing director Katy Turner.
Viva would be a speech-based station specifically aimed at ‘thirty-something’ women and would operate out of Jazz’s studios.
