Animal magazine publisher Gong is to launch its third magazine, All About Dogs, on 23 February. The bi-monthly glossy will retail at £2.20 and have an initial print-run of 50,000.
A source at the magazine described the editorial content as a “lively, educational and informative view of dogs”, and dealing with any related aspects. It is aimed at anyone within the 7 million dog-owning population, though this tends to be ABC1 women aged 25-45. The magazine hopes to establish a circulation of around 30,000.
Gong may launch another title im May, and possible a further magazine linked with horse-riding by the end of the year. Gong currently publish Wild About Animals and All About Cats.
