Google is expected to launch its first mobile phone today, the Nexus One, as it bids to end the iPhone’s dominance.

The touchscreen phone, produced by Taiwanese company HTC, is expected to be unveiled at a press briefing for US journalists in California.

According to reports on technology blogs, the phone has a 3.7 inch long screen and a five megapixel camera.
