MediaTel’s ‘Everything Digital in a Day’ conference, Media Playground (March 20 at RBS, London), has added three more top flight contributors to its line-up.

Emma Scott, Managing Director, Freesat will join the Screen panel – chaired by Graham Lovelace – which already includes Nigel Walley, MD of digital media consultancy Decipher, ITV’s controller of digital products, Jon Block, Rovi’s advertising director, Jon Hewson, and, for a wider, interesting angle on a market that has just taken its advertising digital, Digital Cinema Media’s MD, Simon Rees (also a previous MD of Mindshare).

Freesat reaches more than 3 million homes each month and launched a much lauded new EPG last year. Emma is a former Vice-Chair of the Royal Television Society and has worked for the BBC and Optus.

Meanwhile, Dominic Allon Director, Google UK and will be involved in the Social panel, which takes on topics from social TV to measurement. Google+ now boasts more than 500 million users – but are clients seeing it as a genuine advertising medium and competitor to Facebook?

Later in the day, Raymond Snoddy, MediaTel columnist and ex-Times and Financial Times media editor will chair two sessions – the Q&A with Wired editor David Rowan and the final session, Mobile, which includes Facebook’s Ed Couchman and Carat’s Dan Hagan plus Mobile Fix LIVE with Simon Andrews.

One of the industry highlights of the year – running for the first time as an event partner in 2013 with Ad Week Europe – Media Playground will see leading industry figures give expert insight into topics affecting the sector, as well as partaking in lively debates. Delegates will also be able to take part in technology demonstrations.

You can still book tickets for just £195 here.
