Granada Announces Sales House Arrangements

Granada has announced details of the new sales house it has formed out of the Time Exchange and Laser. The new sales house will be known as Laser, and will sell the airtime of Granada, LWT, YTTV and Border. It will start trading by September 1.

Chief executive will be Mick Desmond, currently managing director of the Time Exchange; managing director will be Derek Hemment, Philip France will be Client Marketing Director and Simon Pardon will be deputy managing director.

The Time Exchange and Laser will continue to operate as normal until the new Laser takes over. Discussions are still taking place as to the future selling arrangements of Grampian and STV, the two other stations currently sold by the Time Exchange.
