Granada has refused to comment on market talk that it was behind a dawn raid on Yorkshire Tyne Tees TV. It has been rumoured that Granada is bidding £10 a share.
At 11:00 this morning, YTT TV shares had soared 126p to 993p, and Granada rose 9p to 734p.
