Granada Secures Butchers For Pet Rehab Sponsorship
![]()
Granada Enterprises has secured Butcher’s Petcare to sponsor ITV’s new animal care series, Pet Rehab.
The deal, which was negotiated by Stewart Hunt and Amanda Ranstead at Granada Enterprises and Jon Horrocks at Walker Media, will include full broadcast sponsorship of the new series on LWT this autumn.
The weekly show will feature a variety of news and features on animal health and mental wellbeing. It will also feature a special “pet doctor”, which will analyse the behaviour of a range of celebrity pets.
Commenting on the initiative, Yetunde Ige, head of marketing at Butchers Petcare, said: “We feel the programme is a perfect fit for Butcher’s. It’s fun and entertaining, new and innovative and goes out at a prime time on a Sunday, covering an area that has 10 million viewers, six million of whom own a pet.”
The Lab will be producing the sponsorship credits and break bumpers, which have been designed by CHI Advertising.
Granada Enterprises recently launched a £1.5 million television and outdoor advertising campaign to promote a range of products featuring its pre-school character, Engie Benjy (see Granada Launches £1.5 Million Pre-School Marketing Drive).
