Guardian Named Newspaper Of The Year

The Guardian has been named Newspaper of the Year at the What the Papers Say awards, presented by Tony Blair. It was praised for its “courage and tenacity for challenging those in power” and also its front pages which “in their less combative way, had just as much as to say about the future of this country.”
