Guardian To Launch New Guide
The Guardian is to launch a new listings and entertainment guide in the autumn. It will be a full A5 colour version of its current Saturday insert.
It will continue to be free with the newspaper, and will incorporate 7 day TV listings as well as more detailed information about arts and entertainment, with glossy, pre-print opportunities for advertisers.
The product will be backed by a multi-media campaign by Leagas Delaney, with posters and cross-tracks on the London Underground as well as press and radio. They will target classified and entertainment-based advertisers as well as regular consumer brand display clients.
The Guide will be edited by Steven Keane, the former editor of City Limits. The A5 Guide will only be distributed in the London/M25 region. There will be 3 regional A3 size versions which will provide local entertainment information.
