Guardian/Observer Positions Settled
Advertising director of the Guardian, Caroline Marland, will retain her position when the newspaper’s sales department officially joins up with the Observer on Monday.
Only two of the senior Observer staff will survive the move, with Stuart Taylor taking over as a sales manager on magazines and supplements (formerly display sales manager) and Jane Finch as sponsorship manager. Display ad manager with the Guardian, Carolyn McCall, will take charge of the display advertising team. Jo Clark and Richard Joyce will take over as newspaper agency sales managers.
