GWR Sales Director To Set Up Training Company

GWR Group’s sales director, Wayne Lowery, is leaving to set up his own management and development and sales training company, drawing on 20 years of experience in the media sales industry.
The company, Apex Performance Systems Europe, will begin trading on 15 July and will work in partnership with the existing Apex Performance Systems USA.
Lowery commented: “After and successful and fulfilling career with GWR, it’s time to take the next step- to offer my expertise to the market.” He has been spending time travelling in Australia, Europe and the USA, examining how technology can be utilised to make training more cost efficient, delivered closer to the point of customer contact and ultimately more effective.
GWR recently restructured its sales division, Opus, and has responded to research by creating a new customer services role (see Opus Creates Dedicated Customer Service Role).
