GWR Sells First Network Ad Package

GWR Group has signed up Proctor & Gamble as the first client to the The Club – a new promotional environment which runs across The Mix sales brand and takes in all of GWR’s 18 FM stations. P&G is to promote its Always Multipack product from 29 April to 6 May on The Club’s networked 7-10pm slot Mondays to Saturdays.

The Club incorporates the Hot 30 Countdown and Saturday Night Live programmes and reaches an audience of just under 4 million listeners. As part of the package, GWR offers advertisers trails throughout the day and instant prizes on the Hot 30 Countdown on each of the FM stations.

Commenting on the deal, Duncan George, managing director of GWR’s sales house Opus, says: “The Mix is a great new semi-national opportunity for advertisers. We are delighted that P&G recognise this and are our first promotional partner.”
