Harmsworth Active Publishing is launching Improve Your Match Fishing in July to compete with Emap’s imminent launch, Angling Plus, also due out this summer.
The monthly magazine will have an initial print run of 80,000, hoping for settledown sales of 60,000. Editor for the title is Luke Felton, who will also be responsible for Harmsworth’s other angling title, Go Coarse Fishing, due out in September. The latter is set to compete with another Emap title, Improve Your Coarse Fishing, which currently has a circulation of over 73,000.
