Havas Media Group UK has appointed Lizzie Nolan and Simon Bevan to chief transformation officer and chief operating officer respectively.

Nolan and Bevan will report into Patrick Affleck, CEO UK & Ireland, Havas Media Group UK.

As chief transformation officer, Nolan will head up the Havas Media Group UK’s data and analytics, insights, strategy and planning teams.

She will work out of the Havas King’s Cross London office, helping build “closer ties” between the UK and global teams, and “the wider Havas Village”, given she most recently worked as EVP managing director for strategy and intelligence at Havas Media Global, a role she had occupied since October 2019.

Nolan will also be responsible for supporting clients’ digital, data, and technology transformation and enhancing Havas Media Group UK’s strategic product offering.

She has previously held leadership, content and strategy positions at Yupp.gg, BBH, MediaCom, PHD, Bauer Media and Virgin Media. Her longest stint was at MediaCom between 2004 and 2017.

Havas Media Group UK and Ireland has also promoted Simon Bevan from chief investment officer to chief operating officer.

He will be responsible for incorporating newly-acquired businesses and updating product and media service delivery across Havas’ five UK & Ireland offices in London, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin.

Bevan will have oversight over Havas Media Group UK’s investment approach and strategy.

He joined Havas Media Group UK as director of media investment in 2017. Prior to that, he worked in commercial and broadcast roles at Dentsu agencies Amplifi UK and Vizeum UK (now iProspect) for more than 14 years. Bevan started his career as a TV buyer at BBJ Media.
