Mike Wood, media director at JWT, and Mandy Pooler, managing director at Ogilvy & Mather’s the Network, are going to be named as the joint managing directors of WPP Media, it is rumoured. The new outfit, which will bring together the media outfits at JWT and the Network, is set to launch on January 1 next year (subscribers see WPP Sets Date For Merged Media Outfit). It is anticipated that other WPP Media staff announcements will be made within the next few weeks.
