Hearst UK makes changes to commercial team

Hearst Magazines UK, the publisher of Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar and Esquire, has today announced changes to its commercial team.

Duncan Chater has been appointed as group publishing director of Esquire and Red, having previously looked after Men’s Health, Women’s Health and Runner’s World at Hearst-Rodale.

Jacquie Euwe will now focus her efforts on publishing Harper’s Bazaar and Town and Country as it increases its frequency, while Greg Witham will become group publishing director for a new group comprising Cosmopolitan, Digital Spy, Sugarscape and Company. Jessica Myers will join Witham’s team as sales director.

Within Hearst’s Weeklies Group, Georgina Parrot has been promoted to sales director and Matt Hayes will join as acting publisher.

Hearst’s CEO, Anna Jones, said that the appointments and promotions will further strengthen the publisher’s commercial team.

“Duncan and Greg are both excellent publishers, with a deep understanding of brand and content and original thinking when it comes to commercial partnerships,” Jones said. “I look forward to seeing them thrive in their new roles.”

The changes will come into place from 2 April.
