Global Radio is set to complete the second phase of its national Heart roll-out venture today by launching 12 new stations across the south-west region.
The new additions, which will be on-air in Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Oxford, Reading, Plymouth, North Devon, South Hams, Exeter, Somerset, Torbay and Gloucester today, will join the nine Heart stations that were launched across Anglia in January.
There are now 24 stations in the Heart network, including the three original stations in London, the west Midlands and the east Midlands.
Global radio has also launched its second major advertising campaign to support the latest Heart roll-out, which will include a refreshed “Give it some Heart” TV and cinema ad.
The commercial is set to run across a number of ITV regional channels, including the West Country, Central South, HTV West and Meridian Thames Valley, as well as in London, Anglia and Odeon cinemas.
