The Saturday Herald is to increase its pages and add a new section from next weekend. The main section will gain four broadsheet pages, the tabloid Weekender section will have an extra eight pages, and the new section, Weekend Watch, will be introduced to cover television, radio and cinema.
These changes follow the announcement that the Scotsman is to launch two new editions as a direct challenge to The Herald. (Newsline 7/9)
