Hill & Knowlton Acquires ProMarc Agency

WPP has announced the acquisition of the ProMarc Agency, a US-based technology communications firm, by its PR network Hill and Knowlton. The addition of ProMarc’s clients will give H & K combined billings of more than $6m.

“The combination of H&K’s established global technology presence comprised of Blanc & Otus Public Relations, SocketPR and Hill and Knowlton’s regional practices with ProMarc’s excellence and reputation create a dynamic force in the DC high-tech corridor,” said Tom Hogg, president and CEO of H&K/USA.

The deal further strengthens the group’s technology practice and continues WPP’s strategy of expanding its networks in fast-growing markets.
