Holidays For As Little As £1.95

A new consumer travel magazine, Holidays has launched. The monthly full-colour glossy retails at £1.95 and is published by Exeter-based, Icon Publishing.

With an initial print-run of 40,000, Holidays is aiming at AB adults who take at least one foreign holiday per-year. According to the publishers, this group spends in excess of £6 billion annually on holidays.

Icon’s publishing director, Peter Gaskell said: “There is a place in the market for a high quality holiday magazine. Holidays will be a good read with a balance of information and entertainment. As for advertisers, Holidays has already created huge interest in the travel industry.”

The first issue includes interviews with Richard Branson and Jill Dando and carries features on Trinidad, South Africa, the USA and the British Virgin Islands.
