Lady Howe has been appointed to succeed Lord Rees-Mogg as chairman of the Broadcasting Standards Council. She aims to take over the position on June 16.
MRG MEETING – JULY
The Media Research Group is holding a meeting on Monday July 5 to discuss whether there is a relationship between programme enjoyment and commercial effect. Speakers at the meeting will include Andy Tilley of Zenith Media, Alan Copage of Carat Research and will be chaired by Hugh Johnson, Channel 4.
