HSBC bank has renewed its sponsorship of all ITV drama premiere’s in a deal worth around £3 million. The contract will see HSBC associated with ITV’s drama premiere one-offs and mini-series for the duration of 2000 and kicks off with a feature-length edition of Poirot this Saturday.
It has also been reported that NTL has won a five-way battle to become the next sponsor of ITV’s top-rating game show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?. However, this will not be confirmed by either ITV or NTL at the present time.
