IBM study uncovers four distinct personalities of connected consumers

According to a new survey by the IBM Institute of Business Value four very distinct digital consumer personalities have emerged in the last four years. The study surveyed more than 3,800 consumers in China, France, Germany, Japan, the UK, and the US.

According to the IBM survey, most users fall into one of four emerging personality categories:

  • Efficiency experts
  • Social butterflies
  • Content kings
  • Connected maestros
