IBM To Sponsor Classic FM Newsnight
Classic FM has signed an exclusive sponsorship deal with IBM UK for its flagship news and current affairs programme, Classic Newsnight. The advertising and sponsorship package includes advertorials and internet activity through the IBM and Classic FM websites.
The campaign starts in mid March and runs until November. Classic Newsnight, which broadcasts each weekday between 6:30 and 7:00pm, is currently enjoying its highest ever listening figures according to the station, up by 19% year on year according to Q4 RAJAR data.
In the same RAJAR survey, Classic as a whole enjoyed a rise in average weekly reach of 4.7% year on year to 5.1 million. The station takes a 3.7% average share of listening.
