ITV1’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! with Ant & Dec attracted more than 8.6 million peak viewers last night, over three times the amount of its nearest peak time rival.
The reality show, which saw Robert Kilroy-Silk endure the terrors of a live bushtucker trial, secured over 8 million average viewers and a 35.4% audience share between 8pm and 10pm.
Meanwhile, BBC One’s Apparitions only managed to pick up 2.8 million average viewers with a 12.6% audience share between 9pm and 10pm.
At the same time, Channel 4’s one off Special Needs Pets, which featured rabbits in wheelchairs and dogs with false limbs, pulled in 1.9 million peak viewers with a 7.6% audience share.
BBC Two’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks, with guest captain Frank Skinner, also attracted 1.9 million viewers at 9pm.
